  • Our Kodak NexPress 3900 provides a larger sheet size, enabling you to digital print to a maximum image area of 330mm x 638mm.

  • What is the minimum line stroke width recommended?
  • 0.25 point is the minimum recommended line stroke width when printing at Impact Digital.
  • Are transparencies okay?
  • Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign transparencies are a common problem in the postscript world, and are best avoided. Please either render your transparency into an image, or use the ‘Simulate Transparency’ option in Adobe Illustrator advanced print options.
  • How do I set up a four colour black?
  • For a solid, rich black, we recommend using the following colour breakdown for each of the following presses:
    HP: C30 M20 Y20 K100
    Nexpress: C50 M40 Y40 K100 (Coated)
    Nexpress: C70 M50 Y50 K100 (Uncoated)
  • What is the best resolution for my images?
  • Please ensure all images are placed as CMYK and are at a minimum of 300 DPI at print size.
  • CMYK or RGB?
  • Files for print production should always be converted to CMYK for more accurate results.
