Impact Digital’s carbon emissions reduced by 18%

Carbon Coach is pleased to confirm completion of Impact Digital’s carbon footprint assessment for 2012–13. For the 2012–13 financial year total company emissions were reduced by 18% on the previous year, a commendable result.

The reduction is driven through a significant shift toward carbon neutral paper sources, which resulted in a 75% reduction in emissions associated with paper use as shown in the chart below. Whilst there were increases in emissions from some sources, the reduction in emissions associated with Impact Digital’s decision to shift more of its house stocks to carbon neutral sources outweighed these by a significant margin.
