Impact Digital acquire the latest Nexpress 3900

February 14, 2012

The latest Nexpress 3900 with an extended sheet feeder has arrived. It allows our customers to order 6pp A4, landscape A4 saddle stitch/perfect bind booklets.

It’s new, it’s faster, and it lets you print bigger projects – up to 325mm x 638mm. You’d expect nothing but the best image quality from Kodak, and the NexPress Photo Solution delivers with low grain, high fidelity, high saturation and brilliant colours on prints that are durable. A new Light Black HD Dry Ink option enables extremely smooth skin tones while maintaining superb detail. Kodak Perfect Touch Technology helps ensure that images are automatically colour corrected for the best possible results.

Our NexPress 3900 also features five-colour configuration enabling the in-line coating, glossing, or a fifth colour to expand the printing gamut and reproduce spot colours. It allows digital prints in a range of larger format documents, traditionally only available on offset presses.

Using the new, larger image area of 325mm x 638mm, you can now print these formats, and many more:

  • 6 page A4 folded brochures
  • 8 page A5 folded brochures
  • landscape saddle stitched A4 booklets
  • posters

Larger quantity digital print runs are now more economical. In the past, digital printing provided the flexibility of smaller runs. Now with the increased speed of Impact Digital’s Kodak NexPress 3900, larger quantities have become just as cost effective.
